Foundations of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counseling Major

Students can complete this degree and receive graduate credit towards a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or enter directly into the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling track of this master’s degree. Students will explore and identify the causes of substance abuse disorders and develop the skills to assess, diagnose, and treat people with substance disorders in individual and group settings.
