No food and beverage items of any kind are allowed in any of the classrooms in D’Amour Hall, in computer labs in Carr Hall and Mills Theatre. *The only beverages that are allowable are capped water bottles which are kept in book bags on the floor of the classrooms. Even water bottles may not be placed on computer tables in Labs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, Carr 103 and 105. Soda containers, soda bottles, coffee cups, thermal cups or containers will not be allowed in any of the rooms under any circumstances. This policy will be strictly enforced by the faculty and staff.

In other classrooms in Carr Hall, Elliott, and Catok, students and faculty are expected to use care in keeping the classrooms clean (that is, individuals are expected to clean up after themselves), avoiding spills, and exercising good judgment in maintaining a professional, safe—and sanitary— learning environment. Damage to carpeting because of spilled drinks is an ongoing problem in these academic classrooms.
