Establishment of National Honor Society Chapters
Bay Path University encourages the establishment of chapters of national honor societies and supports the chapters by paying the initial charter dues, annual charter dues and faculty dues. The University does not pay student induction fees or annual student dues. Any department wishing to establish an honor society for a program in their department must submit all documentation required by the national organization, including the approval guidelines, to the Office of Academic Affairs for review and approval. It is acknowledged that the many different honors programs and societies will have varying standards or requirements for achievements such as GPA and credits completed; it is the responsibility of each department to ensure that the pertinent requirements for each program or society are met.
