Professional Membership and Dues
Full-time faculty are responsible for their own memberships and dues for professional organizations, certifications, licensures, and other professional designations. The University will support one membership per academic department or academic program each year (if funding is available) if that membership supports the department faculty as a whole or provides significant value added for the academic programs. This membership may be in the name of the chair or program director. The Dean of the appropriate school must approve the funding for each department membership. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by the appropriate dean in consultation with the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
