Campus Safety & Security
Bay Path University/Cambridge College is committed to providing a safe environment for work and study. As such, there are dedicated resources and staff in place to ensure safe and secure campuses. As a multi-campus institution, we recognize that each campus requires unique safety features and emergency responses specific to the setting. Regardless of campus location, compliance with all city, state and federal laws is expected of all members of the learning community. Anyone who is victimized, observes or has knowledge of a criminal action should report it immediately to campus security.

Public Safety Staff
Each campus has well-trained professional public safety staff who work to provide a safe and secure environment for those who live on, work at or visit campus. Although one function of campus security is to enforce campus rules, regulations and policies, their primary mission is to assist students, staff, and guests.
On the Longmeadow and East Longmeadow campuses, the Department of Campus Public Safety operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is in direct communication with the Longmeadow Police and Fire Departments. Residence halls are secured 24/7 and have electronic ID access, which is provided and maintained by CPS. The CPS staff issues parking permits, checks visitors into residence halls, oversees general campus safety issues, enforces parking regulations, assists with special events and provides crime prevention and campus safety workshops throughout the year.
On the Boston campus, Public Safety officers greet visitors and students. While on duty, officers monitor building activities and respond to alarms.
On the Puerto Rico campus our Front Desk Security officers greet visitors and students as well as monitor building activities and respond to alarms.
