Special Education (Non-Licensure) Major
Health and Human Services, B.A.
This offering provides a gateway for students planning on pursuing graduate study in Bay Path’s Special Education Master’s Program. Students are prepared to work in programs to provide the proper support, services, and least restrictive environment to meet the educational needs of children with special needs, such as visual or hearing impairment, intellectual or learning disability, speech disorders, neurological conditions, or behavioral and emotional disorders. A student needs a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA to take the 500-level courses in this major. This is a non-licensure program at the undergraduate level. Students obtain
licensure in the Master’s Program in Special Education.
