Student Complaint Processes

Bay Path University is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and supportive learning environment. Students have the fundamental right to voice concerns and submit formal complaints regarding their academic experience, administrative services, discrimination, or unfair treatment without fear of retaliation. This process ensures student voices are heard, institutional standards are upheld, and issues are resolved through clear, equitable procedures.

Please refer to the list below to find the most appropriate place to direct your concerns.

Academic Complaints

  1. The student first should discuss the complaint directly with the faculty member and try to resolve it at that level.
  2. If the student refuses to confer with the faculty member or the faculty member refuses to confer with the student, the student may confer with the department chair/program director or with a faculty advisor.
  3. If an acceptable solution is not reached at this stage of the process, the student must then document his or her complaint in writing and deliver a copy to the faculty member and the department chair/program director.
  4. The Student may appeal to the Dean of the appropriate school if no satisfactory resolution is reached.
