New Student Orientation

All new undergraduate students are required to complete an orientation program before beginning classes at Bay Path University. New Student Orientation is designed to support a successful transition to the University by introducing students to the academic experience, University resources, policies, expectations, and the people and services that support student success.

New Student Orientation is offered in different formats based on a student’s campus location and academic program. All students are enrolled in an online orientation course that provides a wealth of resources. In addition, new undergraduate students attending the Longmeadow campus participate in a one-day on-campus orientation program. Students beginning in the fall also participate in Welcome Weekend activities. Undergraduate students attending the Cambridge campus or enrolled in Bay Path Online programs complete the University’s online synchronous orientation. Longmeadow students who are unable to attend the on-campus program also complete the online orientation.

Graduate students receive orientation and onboarding through their academic departments. Students should contact their academic department for  information about their orientation requirements and program-specific onboarding activities.
