The B.S. Healthcare Administration is designed to meet the needs of adult students aspiring to leadership and management roles across a wide variety of healthcare organizations. To support career advancement, the program offers a scaffolded curriculum that systematically builds both foundational and advanced competencies. This intentional design ensures that all students master operational, financial, technological, and strategic administrative skillsets, regardless of their prior healthcare knowledge or experience.
Designed with flexibility in mind, this program provides an efficient pathway for individuals seeking to transition from frontline or clinical roles to administration. Students with prior coursework, such as those with associates degrees, medical and science courses, or other relevant courses may be able to apply transfer credits into their bachelor’s program. Additionally, working professionals with licenses or certifications, such as licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and others may be able to apply their credentials as part of transfer credits. This flexibility allows students to rapidly enter or advance in the healthcare workforce as qualified administrators, operations managers, and department leaders.
