The Psychology program prepares students with a well-rounded education for thinking critically about human behavior and mental processes, by promoting an understanding of the relationship among theories, research, and conclusions. Students learn about the stages of development throughout the lifespan, theories for understanding personality and social behaviors, brain function, mental illness, interviewing and foundational counseling skills, motivation, and cognition.
