The Bay Path University community welcomes and affirms the rights of its students, faculty and staff to live, work and study in an environment free of discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX") prohibits discrimination based on sex in the education programs and activities of an institution which receives federal financial assistance. As a recipient of federal financial assistance, Bay Path University is required to adhere to Title IX requirements.

Title IX protects faculty, staff, and students against unlawful acts of sexual misconduct, including sexual violence, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, intimate partner violence, dating violence, bullying (including cyberbullying) and stalking. Taken together, these acts are termed sexual misconduct. The University prohibits retaliation for advocating for a right protected under Title IX.

Title IX Coordinator

Bay Path University* does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in its education programs and activities, including in admissions and employment, as required by Title IX, its regulations, and other federal and state laws. Bay Path University is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning, living, and working environment for all members of the Bay Path University community free from sex discrimination, including sex-based harassment, as defined in this Title IX Policy (the “Policy”). Bay Path University will respond to reports of sex discrimination and will take prompt action to eliminate such conduct, prevent its recurrence, and remedy any adverse effects in Bay Path University’s education programs and activities, including, as appropriate, by way of the Grievance Procedures outlined below. 

Violations of this Policy may be subject to disciplinary sanctions, up to and including termination of any relationship with Bay Path University, withdrawal of any privilege to enter upon Bay Path University property, and/or limitation of any participation in Bay Path University-sanctioned or supported activities and events.

Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures; Statement of Non-Discrimination for Students and Graduates of CC Puerto Rico Degree Programs

To ensure full compliance with Puerto Rico Board of Postsecondary Institutions licensing standards (Section 19.6 of Puerto Rico Regulation 9272 of 2021), the Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures apply to students and graduates of all academic degree programs offered at CC PR.  The application of this Process to both students and graduates ensures due process for the entire academic community in Puerto Rico, according to PR regulations.
